UPS GLD Portal

Minimalist coffee can design in hand – black and white packaging with bold typography

challenge

The GLD Portal needed to reposition from a visibility dashboard to a decision-support platform. Although analytically robust, its value was not immediately legible to stakeholders evaluating operational tools. The challenge was to translate complex supply chain intelligence into a clear, decision-oriented product narrative

solution

I framed the landing page around a simple behavioral model: operational friction → surfaced insight → confident action. The information architecture mirrored analytical workflows, reinforcing how the product supports decision-making rather than just monitoring. I abstracted complex data systems into structured, dashboard-led compositions to maintain rigor while reducing cognitive load. Visual continuity between marketing and product UI ensured the narrative felt grounded in real capability, not promotional language.

result

The experience repositioned GLD as an intelligence layer within the supply chain ecosystem rather than a reporting interface. By anchoring storytelling in product logic and systems thinking, the work strengthened perceived sophistication and clarified the platform’s strategic value.
