CR Reimagined

challenge
The vehicle condition report plays a critical role in building trust during auctions and dealer transactions, yet the existing experience felt dense, outdated, and difficult to scan. Information lacked clear hierarchy, forcing dealers to work harder to extract key insights about vehicle condition. The business saw an opportunity to rethink the report as a more modern, transparent experience that could better support fast decision-making in high-value transactions.

solution
I developed a forward-looking design proposal that reimagined how condition data could be presented through a more intuitive and engaging experience. The concept introduced a clearer information hierarchy, surfacing key vehicle insights in a concise summary while allowing deeper details to unfold progressively. To make condition data easier to understand, the proposal explored interactive elements such as a 360° vehicle view with clickable damage markers and inspector voice notes to provide additional context. The goal was to transform the report from a static document into a dynamic inspection experience—balancing transparency, usability, and speed for dealers reviewing vehicles.
result
The proposal was well received by product and business stakeholders, helping align teams around a more ambitious vision for the future of condition reporting. The concept sparked internal discussions about how condition data could evolve beyond static reports and served as a strategic direction for future product development and phased rollout planning.
